Sahitya Sandhya 2026 – Call for Participation!

You are cordially invited to participate in an afternoon of Hindi Poetry Recitation (कवि सम्मेलन). Hindi Poetry – created, written, and recited by you all. 

You may choose to recite one or two original poems (max. 5 minutes total) or recite one or two poems written in any language by others but translated in Hindi by you – all poem recitation will be in HINDI. All forms /dialects of Hindi are acceptable, for example, Bhojpuri, Avadhi, Bundelkhandi, Khari Boli, etc.). 

Each participant will be allotted 4-5 minutes (less is better). 

तो भाइयो और बहनों, देवियों और सज्जनो, कृपया अपनी पेंसिल तराशें या अपने कीबोर्ड की धूल झाड़कर शब्दों का तारतम्य सजाना शीघ्र शुरू करें। आप जैसे ही तैयार हों ,  हमें  सूचित करें।

We humbly request you to respond to fill the participation form latest by Sunday, July 5th,2026 so that we can plan the event. Poetry recitation will be limited to 9-10 poets (First Come-First Serve!). Make sure you are in the first ten poets!

At this point, all we need from you is: 

(a)  Acceptance of Participation (Sooner the better, due to limited poets). 

(b)  Contribution Type – Original Poem(s) or Translated Poem(s).

We will appreciate if you can at least confirm your participation.
