Deepawali 2025 Participants Registration

Hindi Sangam invites entries for performances (group dances, plays, skits, stand-ups, other Hindi related cultural activity) for the Deepawali program to be held on Nov 9, 2025 at Lake Oswego High School. 

Please submit your entry using this form.

  • Guideline is 4 or more performers per item
  • Performance must be appropriate for families including children
  • 5 minute time limit for song/dance performances. 
  • 15/20 minutes for skits / plays.
  • Everyone at the event will need to purchase the tickets. No exceptions. Besides the event tickets, there is no additional fees for the performance participation.

Event participation guidelines

  • Unique entries / relating to Hindi, Indian culture will have higher chances of acceptance
  • Minimum of 4 dancers / participants per item
  • Entries for classical (Hindi preferred) or Bollywood based dances. 
  • Performance should be appropriate for families including children. 
  • Maximum 5 minute time limit for each dance. Note: Longer duration may be acceptable depending on the number of dancers/participants.
  • Each participant to take part in one item only. Multiple entries with same performers may result in disqualification of one / all entries with the common participant. Hindi Sangam board may approve participation in a maximum of 2 entries (if requested at the time of sending entry).
  • Everyone at the event (including participants and the lead) will need to purchase the tickets within 2 weeks once the entry is accepted. No Exceptions.
  • While Hindi Sangam tries its best to include the items that aligns with its mission and values, we get more entries than we can accommodate every year. Hindi Sangam solely reserves the right to accept/reject any entry without explanation.
  • Team Lead is responsible for ensuring each participant (or legal guardian) provides his/her email address and signs on the Event participation form.
  • Hindi Sangam event is a public event. Hindi Sangam reserves the right to use photographs and videos of the participants for its promotions and advertising on any news or electronic media, including but not limited to Facebook and Youtube. Everyone must sign the video/photo release waiver, which is part of participation form
  • Event participation form includes the Event Liability Waiver and Video/Photo release waiver. Team Leader and participants will be required to submit these forms before the event.
